PUR Hot Melt Adhesives
PUR hot melt adhesive, short for Polyurethane Reactive hot melt, is a highly efficient and strong bonding agent widely used in various industrial and manufacturing applications. Distinguished by its exceptional durability and resistance to temperature extremes, moisture, and chemicals, this adhesive provides a very strong bond that improves over time. Upon application, it reacts with moisture in the air to create a cross-linked bond, significantly enhancing its strength and resistance properties. PUR hot melt adhesive is commonly used in woodworking, i.e. edge banding and profile wrapping. Its excellent bonding strength and flexibility make it ideal for demanding applications where long-term durability is crucial.

Reactive Polyurethane PUR Hot Melt Adhesives
PUR hot melt adhesives are heated before processing and applied in molten state. When the adhesive cools down, it builds up its green strength through a physical hardening process, triggered by water molecules (from the substrate or the air). PUR reactive hot melt adhesives provide a stronger bond with a superior resistance against moisture, heat and chemicals.
